Good luck with your Demons is collection of paintings done by tattoo artist, James Gunn. This series of 99 paintings stems from a road trip James took out west from Minnesota where strange, synchronistic events occurred numerous times. Through these events, these paintings were unlocked and he felt an almost other-worldy desire to paint, and only paint.
The design of this book is simple, it is meant to showcase the artist’s work and nothing else. With only the paintings, and a numbering system not connected to the pages, this book highlights the paintings James created by leaving space for the eye to rest and focus on the images.
Included are the front and back cover, the interior cover, and three of the paintings. This book is still a work in progress. But in the words of James, “This book doesn’t need to be anything more than it is.”
